Natalia Korotyaeva is a multidisciplinary artist reflecting the world, the existence between peace and catastrophe, and inner life through drawings, installations, paintings and performances. Her work focuses on the “inner motion”, which experiences its path exposed to external and inner forces. Korotyaeva's art challenges visual perception by transcending reality with poetic logic in her figurative depictions. In her own formal language between archaic and contemporary mindset, she questions today's status quo.
Natalia Korotyaeva, born in 1986, completed her studies with a Master of Fine Arts degree at the Universität der Künste Berlin, which she attained in 2013.
